PRE-MADE FAQ’s


LIFEFORM®’s Pre-Made (aka Ready Made) furniture is Ready to Ship!  All Pre-Made products are handmade and feature all the same inherent quality features as our made to order furniture.   If you're looking for something that can ship quickly but don't want to compromise on quality - look no further!  Pre-Made furniture typically ships within 3-5 business days.

What is the difference between Pre-Made and Clearance?

From time to time we will offer "Clearance" products on our website.  These items are typically slightly used showroom chairs or were made as demo products.  They may be different from the made to order product configurations shown on our website and may show some signs of wear including, but not limited to, scrapes or marks.  Any such marks will be noted on the clearance item’s product page and will be fully disclosed.  Clearance chairs carry a reduced 5 year limited warranty.  Details are below.  Clearance products may be offered at substantial discounts.

Pre-Made (aka Ready Made) chairs are new chairs which have been made in advance, reducing the time it takes to receive them.  Pre-Made chairs will ship within 3-5 business days whereas Custom Ordered chairs may take several weeks to produce.  Pre-Made chairs carry a full 10 year limited warranty.  See our Warranty page for details.

When can I expect to receive my product?

Pre-Made chairs are ready to ship!  We’ll need a few days to process your order and package it for shipping (typically 3-5 days) and then we will ship via UPS or FedEx Ground to the address you provided at check out.  The typical time in transit is anywhere between 5 to 10 business days.  UPS/FedEx will deliver the chair to the address provided.  Sorry, PO Boxes are not accepted, a physical address must be provided.  Please note that these are only estimated transit times, extreme weather, traffic accidents or other unforeseen circumstances may increase shipping time.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been completed and is ready to ship, a tracking number will be generated and tracking information to the email you provided during checkout.   A tracking number cannot be provided until the order is completed.

I live in a Canadian Territory or at an International destination.  Do you ship there?

Though we do not currently ship to any United States destinations from our shoplifeformchairs.ca site, we will ship internationally anywhere UPS/FedEx/DHL delivers!  Though we ship free of charge to most destinations within Canadian provinces, remote locations, Territories and International locations will incur a shipping fee.  Please contact us at 800 661 8568 (Toll Free Canada), +1 403 720 3966 or email us for a customized shipping quote.  Kindly include your full shipping address so we can prepare the quote for you.  Please note the carrier will be determined by LIFEFORM at the time of shipping.  To shop our USA site please visit shoplifeformchairs.com.


CLEARANCE 5 YEAR Limited Warranty

For any products marked as "Clearance":  LIFEFORM® Limited Warranty guarantees the construction of all of our products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.

Executive Chairs

Maximum weight limit: 350 Lbs.

Management, Task Chairs and Stools

Maximum weight limit: 250 Lbs.

Clearance Limited Warranty Conditions & Exclusions

  • This Warranty applies to Personal (Non-Commercial) Use only.
  • Limited Warranty applies to the original owner and is not transferable.
  • The Limited Warranty covers parts only. Labour and freight are not included.
  • For repair situations, customers are responsible for transportation costs to and from LIFEFORM®.
  • Obvious signs of abuse, misuse or negligence voids this limited warranty.
  • LIFEFORM® is not responsible for damage caused by transport, improper assembly or installation, maintenance, modification, tampering or for the damage or degradation of product that may occur due to extreme hot, cold or humid temperatures after it has left LIFEFORM®.
  • Weight verification may be required to ascertain whether the warranty is void.
  • Customer’s original bill of sale and serial number must be provided at the time of claim.
  • Limited Warranty begins from the date of purchase.
  • LIFEFORM® does not Warrant:
    • Normal wear and tear.
    • Although LIFEFORM® ensures the highest quality of workmanship in all of its products, LIFEFORM® does not cover normal wear, fading, or damage that has occurred during the life of the upholstery.
    • Marks, scars, wrinkles or stretching, which may occur in natural leather or inherently stretchy materials (such as UltraFabrics® or DreamWeave™).
    • All leather pulls with use.  Puddling and stretching is generated by repeated use and is a hallmark of genuine leather and is not considered a defect.
    • Matching of grains, colors or textures in Natural Leather.
    • Exact color matching to cutting, samples, swatch cards or online/printed images.
